To Insure or Not To Insure? That is the Question
May 22, 2013
Many patients ask us about their insurance and why their insurance only pays up to a certain amount per year. Insurance companies insure your teeth differently than your body. Dental insurance limits how much they will pay on a yearly basis. For example, your dental insurance may pay up to $1000 per year towards your dental needs. This would include your twice a year checkups and a percentage of any other dental procedures. Dental insurance also has limitations on what they will pay even though they may state they cover a procedure. We recommend you learn about your policy and what they will cover.
