At what age can my children start brushing their own teeth?

We hear this question often! Although kids’ dexterity matures differently, a good rule of thumb is to allow your kids to start learning to brush their teeth on their own about the time they learn to tie their shoes. We encourage you to be extra diligent about cleanings while they are learning to brush on their own. We can help them find ways to reach spots that are tricky or often missed. At Park Crossing Dentistry in Charlotte, we are here to help you help your kids!
