We care about your whole health

Your oral health does not exist in isolation. It is closely connected to your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, and a problem in one area can have real effects on the others. Dr. Josh Neubauer and the team take this connection seriously, which is why care here goes beyond just teeth.

Please let us know if you have any concerns about the following:

  • Anxiety or nervousness about visiting the dentist.
  • Physical considerations such as a sensitive gag reflex or restless leg syndrome.
  • Any discomfort near your mouth, including toothaches, jaw pain, or headaches.
  • Recent changes to your general health that may be relevant to your dental care.

Our Additional Services services

Oral Cancer Screening

Oral cancer screening allows for early detection of abnormal changes in the mouth, lips, tongue, and throat. Understanding the signs and your personal risk factors can make a significant difference in outcomes.

Sports Guards

A custom sports guard protects your teeth, dental bridges, dental implants, and soft tissue from impact during sport and physical activity.

Tooth Sensitivity Treatment

Tooth sensitivity is one of the most common dental complaints, and it is almost always treatable. Find out what is causing your discomfort and what can be done about it.

How dentistry supports your overall health

Good oral health contributes to far more than a clean smile. It supports your ability to eat well, sleep comfortably, speak clearly, and feel at ease in social situations. When dental problems go unaddressed, the effects can extend well beyond the mouth.

Physical health

Tooth pain can be a sign of a deeper infection that requires prompt attention. Beyond acute pain, ongoing issues like an uncomfortable bite, jaw tension, or frequent headaches can all be connected to your oral health. Many of the preventive services offered here are designed to help you avoid these problems before they develop into something more serious.

Emotional health

How you feel about your smile matters. Self-consciousness about the appearance of your teeth can affect how freely you engage with the people around you. If there is something about your smile that has been weighing on you, it is worth bringing up during your appointment so that your options can be discussed openly.

Mental health

Dental anxiety is more common than most people realize, and for some patients it can be a significant barrier to getting the care they need. If the thought of visiting the dentist causes you genuine stress, please let the team know. Accommodations may be available to help make your experience more manageable.

Creating a personalized treatment plan

Every service offered here is built around a treatment plan tailored specifically to you. The goal is always to make sure you are fully informed and confident in any decisions made about your care.

Share with us

Every appointment begins with a conversation. Sharing your concerns, asking questions, and describing what you would like to improve gives your dentist the full picture needed to recommend the right approach. Your goals matter and they shape every recommendation made.

Hear all your options

After a thorough examination, your dentist will walk you through the available treatment options, explain the pros and cons of each, and make a clear recommendation. Nothing will be unclear or rushed. The aim is for you to leave the conversation feeling informed and confident in whatever direction you choose.

The final say is yours

No procedure will ever begin without your complete understanding and explicit consent. Treatment is scheduled at a pace that works for your life and your budget, and your preferences will always be respected throughout the process.

Schedule your exam and consultation

Your visit begins with a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, soft tissues, and bite. We want to understand the full picture of your oral health before recommending any course of treatment.

Before moving forward, we take the time to learn about your health history, any concerns you may have, and what you’re hoping to achieve. Our goal is to make sure you feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. Contact us today to book your appointment.

Our guarantee

We strive to provide great customer service at all times and practice compassionate dental care. If you have any reason to feel dissatisfied with our customer service during this vital time, please let us know. We would love to have the opportunity to resolve any issues or problems you might have.

Hands down, the greatest dental care you can find! I first joined this practice many years ago and still talk about how amazing they are to this day. I had to move out of the city for work over five years ago (and now live over an hour away), and I genuinely miss coming here, as strange as that sounds for a dental office! I’ve been to many different dentists since moving, and absolutely nothing compares to the thorough care you get here. Highly, highly recommend.

I had a great experience at Park Crossing Dentistry. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The staff were knowledgeable and took the time to clearly explain everything, which made me feel comfortable and confident in my care. What stood out most was how invested they were in actually helping me and addressing my concerns. You can tell they truly care about their patients, not just the appointment. I’m very impressed overall. 10/10 experience and I’ve officially found my new dentistry home. Highly recommend!

Relevant Truth: I grew up very poor, and as a result, we couldn't afford to go to the dentist. Fast forward to my high school graduation, and I joined the US Army, which (in only the Army way) caught me up on my dental work with "military kindness." Needless to say, that was traumatizing, and since then I have always feared dentist offices. So, when I find one, I am beyond grateful. When selecting a dentist, my MOST IMPORTANT factor is patient empathy and financial integrity. I can say without doubt that Park Crossing Dentistry has that. My hygienist, Olivia, was constantly checking in with me to ensure that I was at ease. She informed me that if I ever felt I needed a break, all I had to do was raise my right hand. Additionally, when I had questions, she would pause and welcome them. She had a sound understanding of patient anxiety and how best to support patients while also performing the necessary work. Dr. Powell was my dentist, and I must say there was an important event that meant a great deal to me. During my examination, she noted a potential need for a filling; however, she didn't feel it was necessary yet, and doesn't believe in drilling and cutting teeth unnecessarily. This decision was more than just an appreciation of my teeth; it was prioritizing my teeth over her bottom line. That speaks volumes to me. So, as long as they are there, I'm there, and when you go there, ask for them!

Dental anxiety champions PLEASE keep reading. I would genuinely give a million stars if I could! If you're like me and googled "best dentists in Charlotte", there is a reason these guys are on the list. My first interaction of calling to make an appointment was seamless, quick and professional. THEN I got the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing dental staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I HATE (used to) the dentist from bad experiences in the past and this entire practice changed that. So kind, GENTLE, explains everything and patient. I had a cleaning and went back for fillings and it was a surprisingly easy process for everything. Dr. Neubauer was amazing, very careful and considerate of everything. (Did I mention gentle and not scary?) I am so thankful to have found a practice like this to change my perspective on dental care. I really appreciate the entire team there, thank you!

Having recently moved to Charlotte, this was my first visit. I was due for a cleaning and exam and was glad to get both in one visit with little wait time. Kudos to all the staff with whom I interacted: Jessie, front desk, Olivia, hygienist, Dr. Powell, dentist, and Shawn, Treatment Coordinator. Each was knowledgeable, informative, and especially congenial. I look forward to Dr. Powell doing some needed repair work next month. She carefully explained my options and answered all my questions.
